Powerbag Instructor Course

Introduction to the Powerbag Instructor Course

The Powerbag was first introduced in 2003 as a totally revolutionary, functional, soft-to-touch weight training system. Over the last 6 years they have been used extensively in Sport by the England Rugby World cup winning squad, Coventry City FC and the LTA to name a few, as an integral part of the strength and conditioning programmes of the elite athletes and the junior development squads.

However more recently the Armed Forces have embraced the Powerbag, using them extensively since 2005, it has been used on operations in Iraq and Afghanistan with Royal Marines, Parachute Regiments and the medical rehab teams. There are currently over 4000 Powerbags being used by the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Army and RAF globally.

If you are interested in truly functional training, then the Powerbag Instructor Course will teach you how to utilise this amazing piece of equipment for Olympic Lifting, Complex Movement Patterns, Jumps, Drops, Throws, Core Stabilisation and Rehabilitation. And who better to learn from than the creator and developer of the Powerbag, Dr. Mark Bellamy, who will teach you the science behind Powerbag training as well as how to apply it into your programmes.

Learn the biomechanicals of using the Powerbag for your training, the benefits of Powerbag training over other systems, and the huge versatility of exercises. Anyone can pick up a Powerbag and do a squat or a press, but the test of an official Powerbag Instructor is to be able to teach the hundreds of potential drills.

This training system can help you to reach your training goals, whether high level sport, recreational sport, health and fitness or as part of a rehabilitation program.

The ONLY official Powerbag Instructor Course available in the UK, exclusively at Juice Performance Training.
